A Touch of Glass is a working glass studio and gallery located in a former Catholic church built in 1888. Tammy Rae Wolter purchased the historic St. Patrick’s Church in 2021 and transformed it into a spacious studio, gallery and teaching space.

The building’s original character—including its beautiful stained-glass windows—creates a fitting setting for a contemporary glass studio. Visitors can explore Tammy’s lampworked and blown glass, jewelry and keepsakes, along with work by other artists represented in the gallery.

The additional space has also allowed teaching to become an important part of A Touch of Glass, with dedicated areas for both glass and metalsmithing classes.

During the Hidden Studios Art Tour, A Touch of Glass becomes home to Tammy and her guest artists, with plenty to discover throughout the historic building.
